The Salt Lake DSA is open to all in Utah! Our chapter is self-funded by monthly national dues that are on a sliding scale and our chapter solidarity fund. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
How do I join?
- Pay dues at the National DSA site.
- If you have the means, we recommend the monthly Solidarity Income Based Dues option.
- If you are experiencing financial hardship, DSA offers dues waivers.
- OPTIONAL: Contribute one-time or continuously to our local chapter solidarity fund. This does not grant membership.
- Currently, national keeps 80% of your dues and your local chapter only gets 20%.
- 100% of the chapter solidarity funds go directly into local chapter work.
- Download Jitsi and make a free account with the email you paid national dues with.
- We’ll get your confirmation for membership in 1-2 days and then you’ll get invited to our Slack.
